York Visit

I spent most of the day at York installing the security infrastructure I worked on, on the York Cairn (cluster) . It seemed to go well without any major hic ups and the whole thing was over in about 2 hours. Every time I install the infrastructure I realise of the things I would have done differently so it could be mobilised quicker. Still it seems to work and in the absense of alternatives it will have to do. Mark J. informs me that he also managed to successfully compile, deploy and use the infrastructure by himself on another York cluster. So I am now officially useless to the Carmen project.:)

I plan to spend the evening with friends/football fans watching the champions league matches which start tonight.
